in case of problems with android apps downloading a program like Log Collector (com.xtralogic.android.logcollector) from android market or http://code.google.com/p/android-log-collector/downloads/list and running it just after a crash/timeout, ... allows you to mail a log with useful debug information to the author of the app
including information like device name and OS version won't hurt either

"daydreaming" might need a similar treatment but there were no bug reports on that one yet.
